- Buying a home is a huge purchase, so make sure you've done your "homework." Look at as many homes in your price range as you can. Become knowledgeable and familiar with prices so you will recognize a good purchasing opportunity. An experienced realtor can offer valuable insight and services. You can spruce up your house to attract top dollar and sell more quickly. If you want to purchase your new home before selling your current home, then ask your Hilco Mortgage originator about our "Bridge Loan" program that enables you to close on your new home before selling your current one.
- Under contract - make it official.
- You've found your dream house! Now what? Put your pre-approved status into effect by contracting on your home. Once a contract is signed, notify Hilco Mortgage and we'll complete the processing of your home loan.
- Closing - it's finally yours.
- The time has finally come to complete the transaction. A Hilco Mortgage representative will gladly accompany you to your closing to make sure that you get the product represented. We can schedule closings to accommodate your schedule. After 5 p.m. is no problem.
- Post-closing - we're still here.
